Why Hu Jin Tao And Not Barack Obama?

“Barack Obama” undoubtedly will be the quick response when asked on the World’s Most Powerful Person, being the charismatic ruler of the 21st century power United States of America, but he’s just number 2.  China’s leader holds the top spot.  Here’s the list of the World’s Top 5 Most Powerful People* as per Forbes:

Hu Jintao                                   President                POC

Barack Obama                          President               USA

Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz al Saud    King                  KSA

Vladimir Putin                            Prime Minister       Russia

Pope Benedict XVI                    Pope                      RCC

(to view the complete list)

Common denominator among them will be head of states, except for Pope Benedict XVI, who’s the head of the Roman Catholic Church, or let me correct myself, also a head of state since Vatican City is the smallest state, which also has its own government.

So why is the Chinese president chosen, and not Barack Obama?
